Peter Cole was nominated for ‘Young Australian of the Year’ for 2007, where Peter has become a member of the Rotary Club of Knox and is a Councilor in the City of Knox in Melbourne. In 2011 Peter Cole was awarded the Order of Australia Medal for his services to the South Pacific.

His passion is to change people’s mindsets in a positive way. Being the Co-founder of Unleashed Travel, which specializes in overseas group travel packages for Australian and New Zealand school leavers, offers only the best destinations throughout Asia and the Pacific.
Drawing on his business acumen and experience in the fitness and tourism industries he has been a trusted advisor in Brand Strategy, Marketing and Business Development with QPEC, a leading provider of fitness & sport conditioning tools, training workshops, and career growth forums for fitness professionals.
His many connections within Immigration, Government Officials and Sports Ministries has alleviated a number of hurdles for SOS including the purchasing and handling of sports equipment into under privileged countries. At times it seemed almost impossible, but in the end we changed lives! He looks forward to creating opportunities for the youth of today.
Geoff Gough - Director
Geoff was appointed a Director of Spirit of Sharing in 2015. During Geoff’s teaching career, he established himself as a leading educator, with interests in Disability training, Interpreting and Translation, and Sustainability.
Geoff Gough is prominent in local government in Melbourne and has served in numerous government advisory roles.
Stephen Longham - Director
Stephen joined Spirit of Sharing in 2006 as a director.
For 20 years, Stephen worked as a sports master at a private secondary college in Melbourne Australia.
Stephen played high level Aussie Rules Football until his early 30s, and has a love of sport and a longterm interest in fitness.
Stephen began volunteering his time in Fiji for Spirit of Sharing in 2006, distributing sports equipment. His continued passion, experience and knowledge is of great benefit to the organisation’s work.
