Spirit of Sharing volunteers visited Cambodia in 2012, to visit the region. During the stay, a need was identified for bores to provide clean drinking water at Cham Resh, a rural village about 3 hours drive from Siem Reap. In conjunction with the not-for-profit foundation, Make Every Child Count, and local Siem Reap charity, Build Your Future Today, a decision was made for SOS to fund 2 water bores.
SOS provided the funding for these bores, to a total of A$5,000. The work was carried out in 2012 by Build Your Future Today, from SOS funds.
